On Saturday, June 7th, the 2025 Plein Air festival painters will compete in a fast-paced paint-out along Main Street from ten a.m. till noon.
Community painters also are welcome to register for this Paint Main event and compete for separate prizes. Judging will follow on the Tabb House Lawn. After prizes for both groups have been awarded, the paintings will be available for sale fresh off the easel - and ready to hang in your home!
The public is invited and encouraged to attend this free, fast-paced painting event as spectators! See 30 invited Plein Air artists along with artists from the community grace the streets of Main Street! Freshly painted artwork on easels will be created all within 2 hours, just a few blocks along Main Street, in the center of Gloucester Courthouse! Paintings are also available for sale right off the easel…just ask the artist the price and if you like it, mark it SOLD! Stay for the judging that follows this event at 12:30. Paintings will be able to be viewed and purchased until 2pm.
