The Tenth Edition of the Gloucester Arts Festival kicks off on June 5, 2026! Join us all month long and visit the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester to view the Plein Air Invitational Art!

From the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester to the premier Plein Air Invitational of the Middle Peninsula, this month-long cultural event is bigger and better than ever. Our 2026 events kick off June 5th with Brews, Brine, & Wine at Machicomico State Park followed by a full day of fun on Main Street on Saturday, June 6th with Paint Main and the Symphony Under the Stars!

Throughout the month, guests can watch as Plein air artists from across the country paint the Heart of the River collection; Meet the Artists during the Brews, Brine & Wine event at historic Timberneck Farm, Paint Main and Symphony Under the Stars! There is something for everyone during June at the Gloucester Arts Festival!!

Beautiful Gloucester County with its treasure trove of historic sites, waterways, and farmland is host to the Gloucester Arts Festival. Voted Best of Virginia by Virginia Living magazine, the festival is presented by The Cook Foundation.
