Saturday, June 26th at 7pm
The Gloucester Arts Festival once again welcomes the U.S. Fleet Forces Band to close out the festival in patriotic style on Saturday, June 26th. The concert is free to the public. Known as the “finest of the fleet”, the band is the musical representative for Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, VA. The band provides musical support for ships, military bases, foreign dignitaries, and community events throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Ohio River Valley areas of the United States, and also regularly deploys to Central & South America. Under the direction of Lt. Gregory Fritz, the band is staffed by some of the U.S. Navy’s finest and most talented musicians.
The concert will take place on the lawn at Main Street & Walter Reed Way.
The public is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Dine on Main Street before or after either concert and receive 10% off at participating restaurants. Picnics are welcome too and dine on site options will be offered.
Plan to join us as we close out our amazing month long arts festival and usher in the celebration of our Country’s independence!
