Gloucester Arts Festival

Juried Art Show Gloucester VAGloucester’s Inaugural Arts Festival in May of 2017 included the annual Symphony under the Stars concert and many Plein Air painting events. The over 100 paintings by 21 contemporary Plein Air artists, known as The Heart of the River Collection, captured the beauty of our life along the rivers and featured the landscapes of Gloucester County. These paintings and the winners of the 2017 Plein Air competition can be seen in the first Heart of the River catalog. (“Heart of the River” Catalog 2017)

The juried show will open at Arts on Main in Gloucester with a reception on Friday, June 1st, 2018 and run for the month of June.
